Vladimir Norov receives the Ambassador of Mongolia
On August 25, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia (with residence in Nur-Sultan) to Uzbekistan D.Bayarkhuu.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia.
Mutual readiness to intensify constructive political dialogue was emphasized. The proposals on expanding the legal framework of cooperation, the development of inter-parliamentary diplomacy and inter-ministerial consultations were considered.
It was noted that there is a significant potential for the development of bilateral relations in trade, investment, agriculture, tourism and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.
The prospects of further cooperation between Uzbekistan and Mongolia within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as well as the participation of the Mongolian delegation in the Meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States to be held on September 15-16, 2022 in Samarkand, were considered.
