On June 17, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Uzbekistan Ms. Aurelia Bouchez

Various aspects of the Uzbekistan – France agenda were discussed at the meeting.

The main attention was paid to the interaction of the parties within the framework of mutual structures, taking into account the presidency of Paris in the Council of the European Union. 

The French side highly appreciated the large-scale transformations carried out in Uzbekistan in all spheres of life of the state and society.

Proposals on the schedule of planned contacts at various levels and formats were considered.

As it was noted, the upcoming visit of the Medef International business circles of France is designed to intensify trade-economic relations and to discuss in detail the implementation of promising investment projects in Uzbekistan with the participation of the French capital.

Mutual interest was expressed in enhancing cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
