Uzbekistan Joins the Global Alliance Against Poverty and Hunger
The Republic of Uzbekistan has officially joined the Global Alliance Against Poverty and Hunger, marking an important step in strengthening global efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals and improve food security in the country.
This historic move was made in response to the growing challenges of global food security and Uzbekistan's desire to actively participate in addressing issues related to hunger, poverty, and inequality. Joining the Global Alliance provides Uzbekistan with unique opportunities to exchange experiences, attract international investments, and implement joint programs with other countries and organizations to address these pressing issues.
More than 100 countries have joined the initiative to date.
