Uzbekistan, Finland Foreign Ministers exchange congratulatory messages
Today marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Finland. On the occasion of this event, heads of foreign ministries of the two countries, Abdulaziz Kamilov and Pekka Haavisto, exchanged congratulatory messages.
It is noted that Uzbekistan considers Finland as a reliable partner in Europe and attaches key importance to strengthening long-term and multifaceted cooperation.
“We highly appreciate Finland’s continued support for ongoing large-scale comprehensive reforms in Uzbekistan, as well as Helsinki’s contribution to solving environmental problems in the Aral Sea region”, writes Uzbekistan’s FM.
In turn, Pekka Haavisto emphasized that over the past years the countries have achieved significant success in developing friendly cooperation. It was noted that the Finnish side is ready to continue strengthening its partnership with Uzbekistan.
Finland’s FM convinced that cooperation between the two countries, including in trade, investment, education will get even closer.
