The Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan met with the UN Resident Coordinator
On February 13, 2025, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Munira Aminova held a meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan Sabine Machl.
The meeting focused on current issues related to the multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and the UN. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the unprecedentedly high level of cooperation achieved in recent years.
Sabine Machl confirmed the UN system’s commitment to achieving the National Sustainable Development Goals and supporting the reform program within the "Uzbekistan-2030" Strategy.
Special attention was given to coordinating efforts in the development of the new UN Sustainable Development Framework Program for 2026-2030 and readiness for further cooperation in implementing socially significant projects for the republic.
