The accreditation of foreign media representatives has begun under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to cover the second summit of the "Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council" strategic dialogue

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan announces the start of the accreditation process for representatives of foreign mass media wishing to cover the Second Summit of the Strategic Dialogue “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)”, which will be held on May 5, 2025, in Samarkand.

Foreign journalists interested in participating in the coverage of the Summit are required to submit the following documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan:

  1. An official letter from the media outlet’s management addressed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan requesting the accreditation of the correspondent(s);
  2. Information about the media outlet;
  3. A resume/CV;
  4. A copy of the passport;
  5. A photo (aspect ratio 3x4, maximum size 600x800 pixels, minimum size 240x320 pixels, full-face, on a white background);
  6. A completed application form.

Applications from foreign media representatives will be accepted until 18:00 (Tashkent time) on April 24, 2025, either through the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad or directly via email to  GCC2025@mfa.uz

Applications submitted after the deadline, or without the required documents and a completed application form, will not be considered.

Please note that submission of an application does not constitute a basis for entry into the Republic of Uzbekistan or for engaging in journalistic activities without official confirmation of accreditation issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
