Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The news of the death of many people and large-scale destruction resulting from the earthquake in the western provinces of Afghanistan was received in Uzbekistan with a feeling of deep sorrow.

We express our sincere condolences to the victims' families, share the Afghan people's grief, and wish a speedy recovery to all those affected.

Uzbekistan stands in solidarity with Afghanistan and its people in these difficult times.
