Political consultations of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States were held in Ankara

 

On October 4, 2024, the 2nd round of multilateral political consultations at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Ankara.

The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister B. Usmanov.

The top points of the consultations agenda were issues of preparation for the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the OTS, which will be held in November this year in Bishkek.

The consultations considered issues of further development of multilateral cooperation. An exchange of views took place on the state and prospects of multifaceted relations within the OTS, and current issues of practical interaction were discussed.

The Head of the delegation of Uzbekistan noted that Uzbekistan is in favor of further strengthening and cohesion of the Turkic world through new agreements, strategic programs and specific projects.

Following the political consultations, the Heads of delegations were received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey H.Fidan.
