Phone conversation between the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan
On February 21, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov had a phone conversation with Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.
The sides exchanged views on the evolving bilateral agenda with particular emphasis on expanding economic cooperation and enhancing practical collaboration across priority sectors.
Both sides also reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening good-neighborly relations and advancing regional connectivity as a foundation for long-term stability, sustainable development, and mutual prosperity.
