On the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and representatives of leading Japanese companies
On September 8, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with representatives of JICA, JETRO, and leading Japanese companies — Sumitomo Corporation, ITOCHU Corporation, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, Marubeni Corporation, MITSUI & Co, Mitsubishi Corporation, Sojitz Corporation.
The discussions focused on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, taking into account the ongoing practical reforms in Uzbekistan for foreign businesses, the introduction of advanced technologies, and the rich expertise of Japanese companies.
The parties also exchanged views on finding the best solutions to existing issues, creating favorable business conditions, and further developing win-win cooperation.
