On the 30th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Uzbekistan and Romania
 
On October 6, 2025, Uzbekistan and Romania celebrated the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
On this occasion, Foreign Ministers of the two countries, Bakhtiyor Saidov and Oana Țoiu, exchanged congratulatory messages.
Over the past three decades, Uzbek–Romanian relations have steadily developed in the political, trade and economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres. A constructive dialogue has been established between the two countries, and a partnership based on mutual respect and trust continues to strengthen.
Uzbekistan regards Romania as a reliable partner within the framework of the European Union and attaches great importance to further expanding bilateral cooperation, including the intensification of economic ties and the development of joint projects of mutual interest.
