Meeting with U.S. President’s National Security Advisor
On April 9, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with U.S. President’s National Security Advisor Michael Waltz.
The parties discussed a wide range of regional and international issues, reaffirming their mutual commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and the United States of America.
The dialogue focused on expanding cooperation in the field of security, promoting economic development, enhancing regional connectivity, and advancing sustainable development in Central Asia. The meeting confirmed the shared intention to engage in constructive interaction in response to modern challenges and threats.
The Uzbek side expressed gratitude for the consistent support of the reform program in Uzbekistan by the President of the United States, as well as for joint efforts aimed at promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
