On August 29, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the UNFPA Resident Representative in Uzbekistan Dr. Nigina Abaszada. The sides noted that the Government of Uzbekistan has been actively collaborating with international partners to create the most favorable conditions for improving maternal health, population growth, youth potential enrichment, gender equality, and more. Minister expressed the appreciation of all the important work UNFPA family have been carrying out in Uzbekistan for over 30 years.
