On May 15, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos. The parties discussed expanding Uzbekistan-Cyprus bilateral relations in all dimensions, strengthening the legal framework of cooperation, supporting friendly ties between parliaments, and more. It was underscored that facilitating dynamic economic diplomacy remains the top priority. Ministers signed the intergovernmental agreement on the exception of visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports.
