On May 20, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi. The parties underscored the high dynamics of industrial, investment, intellectual, cultural and interregional contacts are aimed at bringing the best outcomes to the people of Uzbekistan and China. The sides discussed the further strengthening friendship and all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership between two nations with an emphasis on the comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.
