Meeting with the Expert of the Indian analytical center "Vivekananda International Foundation"
Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev held a meeting with the Expert of the Indian analytical center "Vivekananda International Foundation" Skand Ranjan Tayal.
During the conversation, regional security issues, including the development of the situation in Afghanistan, as well as possible joint actions to resolve the situation in this country were discussed.
The Indian side was informed about the measures taken by Uzbekistan to facilitate the launch of a peaceful political process, as well as the transport and communication projects being implemented in Afghanistan.
S.Tayal especially emphasized the active participation of Uzbekistan in establishing long-term and sustainable peace in Afghanistan, as well as the restoration of its socio-economic infrastructure.
