On July 9, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Chairman of "Petronas" Dato’ Seri Mohd Bakke Salleh. It was noted that Uzbekistan is committed to bringing the best global experience and expertise to the production energy, substantially increasing the share of renewables, and sustainability. During the meeting, the sides discussed the promising areas of cooperation and further steps to be taken.
