On June 20, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye Olgan Bekar.

The parties reviewed current issues on the Uzbekistan-Turkiye agenda and exchanged views on the progress of implementation of agreements reached during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Turkiye on June 5-6.

The sides also discussed intensifying economic diplomacy, in particular expanding the range of exports of Uzbek products to Turkiye, as well as strengthening interregional interaction.
