Meeting with the Ambassador of Romania
On September 16, 2025, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Olimjon Abdullayev, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Uzbekistan, Daniel Cristian Ciobanu.
During the talks, the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of labor migration. In particular, they considered the conclusion of an intergovernmental agreement, joint efforts to combat illegal migration, as well as the organization of consular consultations.
Both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in continuing a systemic dialogue and reached an agreement on the implementation of joint measures of cooperation.
