Meeting with the Ambassador of Latvia
On September 18, Deputy Foreign Minister Olimjon Abdullayev met with Ambassador of Latvia to Uzbekistan Girts Jaunzems.
During the talks, parties reviewed the results of the Uzbekistan delegation's visit to Latvia on January 27-28, 2025. Moreover, they agreed on further steps towards the implementation of the agreements reached in the field of labor migration.
As a result of the meeting, both sides agreed to facilitate the process of soonest consideration of the intergovernmental agreement and organize consular consultations between the relevant departments of Foreign Ministries.
