From June 10 to 15, 2023, Jalal-Abad hosted the next meeting of the working groups of the Joint Uzbekistan-Kyrgyz Republic Demarcation Commission.

During the meeting, the parties considered the issues of demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz State border. Field surveys were also carried out at certain sections of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz State border within the Namangan region of the Republic of Uzbekistan adjacent to the Jalal-Abad region of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The negotiations took place in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.

Following the event, a corresponding Protocol was signed.

Next meeting of the working groups will take place on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
