On May 16, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov hosted Egidijus Navikas, new Ambassador of Lithuania to Uzbekistan (residence in Astana), and received his credentials. The parties had a discussion of the key priorities of cooperation both on bilateral and multilateral formats, and reviewed the common agenda for the near future. Foreign Minister wished the Ambassador all the success in contributing to the big potential in expanding relations between two countries.
