On November 27, 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the New Zealand to Uzbekistan Sarah Walsh. During the talks, the sides discussed the ways to make the long distance between two countries much shorter exploring new and promising areas of fruitful cooperation from innovative agriculture to green energy. Minister wished the Ambassador all the success in her responsible diplomatic mission.
