On May 16, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of Portugal to Uzbekistan (residence in Moscow) Madalena Fischer. During the meeting, the parties highlighted the need to elevate bilateral ties as the current state does not go in line with the existing big potential. Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Portugal will be at the forefront of these endevours. Minister wished the Ambassador a great success in discovering and exploiting untapped opportunities during her diplomatic mission in our country.
