On June 21, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia Darja Bavdaž Kuret.  

The sides discussed the main priorities of Uzbekistan-Slovenia cooperation both in bilateral and multilateral contexts. Minister wished Ambassador great success in enhancing the significant potential of growing relations between the two countries.
