On May 8, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Federal Commerce Minister of Pakistan Jam Kamal Khan, the Federal Minister for Privatisation Abdul Aleem Khan, the Federal Minister of National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain, the Chairman of Pakistan Railways Syed Mazhar Ali Shah. Developing economic diplomacy, facilitating interregional partnerships, and boosting cooperation in transport, logistics, investment, and agriculture were of a particular focus on agenda. The sides underscored the participation of large companies of Pakistan and fruitful B2B meetings at Tashkent International Investment Forum on May 2-3.
