On December 9, 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received Ambassador of Venezuela Rosalba Lo Bue Antico. 

During the discussions, both sides agreed on the importance of building bridges to strengthen ties and bring the two nations closer together despite the geographical distance. The parties exchanged views on developing and implementing new joint projects, fostering inter-parliamentary cooperation, supporting knowledge exchange, and other areas of collaboration.
