On February 8, 2023, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furqat Sidikov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt Amira Fahmi.  

The current state and prospects for the further development of bilateral relations in the trade, economic and investment spheres were discussed.  

Parties exchanged the views on the schedule of upcoming joint events at various levels.  

Other issues of mutual interest were also considered.
