On April 16, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Madrakhimov held an online meeting with the Secretary General of the European External Action Service Stefano Sannino.

The parties discussed the current state of Uzbekistan-EU relations and prospects for their further development.

Specific proposals for the active promotion of economic diplomacy, as well as deepening partnerships in the scientific and educational sphere were considered.

An exchange of views took place on the joint events planned for the current year, including in the “Central Asia – European Union” format.
