Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan met with the ILO Director-General
On July 9, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Muzafar Madrakhimov held a meeting with Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Gilbert Houngbo.
The parties noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the ILO.
Gilbert Houngbo congratulated Uzbekistan on its election to the ILO Governing Body, stressing the Organization's readiness to continue to support the ongoing transformations in our country.
During the talks, the parties exchanged views on the prospects for further expansion of Uzbekistan's cooperation with the ILO, including the implementation of new projects and joint events.
