Deputy Foreign Minister met with Korean Ambassador
On April 17, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullaev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Won Doyeon.
During the meeting, key aspects of bilateral cooperation in the field of labor migration and simplification of visa procedures for Uzbek citizens were discussed.
The main topics on the agenda were the issues of training of highly qualified specialists for the Korean labor market, as well as the development of joint training programs and creation of new educational initiatives for pre-departure trainings. Special attention was paid to simplification of visa procedures, including opportunities for seasonal workers from Uzbekistan.
The sides agreed to continue work in this direction in order to create most favorable conditions for Uzbek citizens working in the Republic of Korea.
