On May 15, 2023, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to our country Zurab Abdushelishvili.

The parties noted with satisfaction the traditionally high level of bilateral relations, covering many areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.

The presence of great opportunities for further expansion of cooperative ties in the field of economy, investment, transport and logistics was noted.

An agreement was reached to continue the practice of mutual encouragement of business circles to implement joint projects in Uzbekistan and Georgia.
