On April 26, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov held a meeting with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanichbek Omuraliev.

The sides exchanged views on the implementation of the priorities of Uzbekistan's chairmanship in the OTS and the main directions of multilateral cooperation. 

They noted the importance of implementing the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan put forward within the framework of the Organization's summits. 

The Secretary General noted that Uzbekistan is on the threshold of important political processes, expressing confidence that constitutional reforms will be an important step towards the dynamic progress of the republic.
