On April 26, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan Guseyn Guliyev.

The parties considered the current state of the Uzbekistan - Azerbaijan strategic partnership and the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level.

The sides also discussed the schedule of upcoming joint events in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
