Delegation of Uzbekistan held bilateral negotiations in Tehran
On the sidelines of the 19th Asia Cooperation Dialogue Ministerial meeting, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhromjon Aloyev, held bilateral meetings with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Waleed bin Abdulkarim El-Khereiji, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sultan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India Shri Dammu Ravi and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh.
At the meetings, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and these countries in political, diplomatic, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other areas.
A number of specific proposals including those on intensifying ties between the foreign ministries of the parties, building up economic diplomacy and strengthening interregional cooperation were considered.
