On March 14, 2023, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received the credentials of Andre Carstens, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands with residence in Astana.

The parties discussed the issues of further strengthening bilateral relations intensifying political dialogue and promoting economic diplomacy. Mr. Saidov proposed the institutionalization of trade and investment cooperation and inter-parliamentary dialogue.
