Advisor to the Uzbek Foreign Minister met with the Ambassador of Norway
On May 21, 2025, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Munira Aminova met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Norway to Uzbekistan John Mikal Kvistad.
The sides discussed prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in several key areas, including ecology, climate, migration, textile industry and fisheries. The Norwegian side confirmed its readiness to exchange experience on regional co-operation involving the five Nordic countries, including the promotion of scientific and educational projects.
The meeting demonstrated mutual interest in expanding and deepening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Norway, as well as working out concrete steps for the implementation of joint projects in priority areas for both sides.
