Advisor to the Uzbek Foreign Minister met with a representative of the Central Finance and Contracting Agency of Latvia (CFCA)
On 9 April 2025, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Munira Aminova held a meeting with Ieva Jaunzeme, representative of the Latvian Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA) in Uzbekistan.
During the talks, the sides discussed possibilities of joint work on projects in the field of "green economy", alternative energy sources, digitalisation of agriculture, support for women's entrepreneurship and nature conservation projects, including through EU environmental protection programmes.
The parties also discussed possibilities of deepening co-operation in attracting grants and financial and technical support.
The Uzbek Foreign Ministry confirmed its readiness to provide comprehensive support in the implementation of these initiatives.
