Today, Acting Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov welcomed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation Konstantin Obolensky.

Proposals for the comprehensive strengthening of mutually beneficial ties and priority areas of cooperation during 2023 were discussed.

Both parties highlighted the importance of realizing the existing potential for cooperation in all areas from the economy to the cultural dimension.

The successful dialogue between the two countries within the framework of international and financial institutions was emphasized, and the commitment of the parties to continue this dynamic of interaction in the future was confirmed.

Minister Saidov and Ambassador Obolensky have also discussed the issues of building up trade, economic and investment cooperation, intensifying inter-parliamentary dialogue, organizing joint events and high-level visits, deepening cultural and humanitarian exchanges, as well as expanding the legal base of bilateral relations.
