About the meeting with the Secretary General of CICA
On 14 April 2025, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov met with the Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Kairat Sarybay.
During the discussion, the current state and prospects of multifaceted co-operation between Uzbekistan and CICA were discussed. Special attention was paid to the activation of CICA mechanisms aimed at deepening trade-economic and transport-logistical ties in the Asian region.
The sides also exchanged views on topical issues on the regional and international agenda, including on improving CICA's activities and enhancing its authority in the international arena.
