About the meeting at the Czech Foreign Ministry

 As part of the visit to the Czech Republic, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Olimjon Abdullayev held talks with First Deputy Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic Jiri Kozak and Director of the Department of Asylum and Migration Policy of the Czech Ministry of Internal Affairs Pavel Novotna.

The parties noted with satisfaction the dynamic development of Uzbek-Czech relations and emphasized the importance of further deepening cooperation in various fields.

The importance of resuming bilateral political consultations was confirmed, and it was agreed to hold the next round in 2025 in Tashkent.

Particular attention was paid to the development of trade and economic ties between the countries. In particular, the results of the successful business forum in Prague on December 10, 2024 were discussed and a decision was made to organize the next forum in 2025.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed confidence that the continuation of constructive dialogue and cooperation will contribute to the further strengthening of Uzbek-Czech relations in various fields.
