Abdulaziz Kamilov meets with Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister

 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the heads of foreign affairs agencies discussed the current issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the political, trade, economic, logistics, water and energy, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The importance of the timely and comprehensive implementation of the agreements reached as a result of the high-level meetings was noted.

The parties considered the schedule of forthcoming events, including those scheduled as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states (November 23, 1992). An exchange of views took place on the international agenda.

On March 3-4, the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan will take part in the High-level International Conference on “Regional Cooperation among Central Asian States within the Framework of the Joint Plan of Action (JPoA) for the Implementation of the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy”, in Tashkent.
