A meeting was held with the Ambassador of France and the director of the Representative office of the French Development Agency
On January 16, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Munira Aminova held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic Aurelia Bouchez and the Director of the French Development Agency’s (FDA) representative office in Uzbekistan, Olivier Grandvoinet.
During the substantive conversation, prospects for cooperation in the field of economic diplomacy, including issues of further implementation of joint projects aimed at improving the social sphere of the republic.
The progress of implementation of projects of the French Development Agency in the republic within the framework of the Agreement was discussed on cooperation between the Government of Uzbekistan and the FAR for 2023-2025, as well as opportunities to expand interaction in the field of education, healthcare, ecology and support for women's entrepreneurship with the participation of the French organizations «FASEP», «PROPARCO» and «France Expertise»
The parties highly appreciated the current dynamics of bilateral relations in the trade and economic sphere, especially in such areas as energy, tourism, food and agro-industry.
The development of cooperation between the regions of the two countries is identified as a promising area of interaction.
