UAE introduces a visa-free regime for citizens of Uzbekistan
On January 16, 2024, the protocol on mutual exemption from requirements for issuing entry visas was signed.
The document was signed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the UAE Abdulaziz Akkulov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Khalid Abdullah Belhoul at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE.
According to the document, citizens of Uzbekistan are exempt from visa requirements for the period of stay in the UAE no more than 30 days.
The document will officially come into force on February 16, 2024.
