On January 10, 2024, Deputy Foreign Minister Rakhmatulla Nurimbetov met with Charge d’Affaires of Georgia in our country George Chkheidze.
The parties exchanged views on current issues on the bilateral agenda and reviewed the implementation of previously reached agreements. The importance of continuing exchanges between the parliaments and government institutions of the two countries was noted. The sides also discussed prospects for the development of interregional cooperation, tourism ties, and public diplomacy.
The schedule of upcoming events at various levels, including the celebration of the 30th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Georgia, was considered.
