President completes his working visit to Bishkek

 

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has completed his working visit to Bishkek to attend the Commonwealth of Independent States Summit. The Head of state has departed for Tashkent.

The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov and other officials saw off the President of Uzbekistan at Manas International Airport.

Today, the President of Uzbekistan participated in the Council of Heads of State of the CIS meeting and put forward several important initiatives to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation within the Commonwealth.

For his outstanding contribution to strengthening friendship, good neighborliness, and multifaceted cooperation, the Leader of Uzbekistan was conferred the highest award of the Organization – the CIS Badge of Honor.

On the sidelines of the Summit, the President of Uzbekistan met with the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
