On April 14, 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin.

Ministers reviewed the preparation to the upcoming highest-level engagements and emphasized that the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have been deploying all their resources to make good-neighbourliness, strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan even more stronger. During the conversation, the parties highlighted that the further advancing connectivity, boosting trade ties, ensuring regular exchanges on all areas remain among top priorities.
