MFA of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Special Representative of Norway for Afghanistan
On September 4, 2023, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the Special Representative of Norway for Afghanistan Kjell-Gunnar Eriksen.
Kjell-Gunnar Eriksen highly appreciated the efforts of Uzbekistan to develop a consolidated regional position on Afghanistan, to provide humanitarian assistance to the Afghan people.
An exchange of views took place on the issue of restoring the national economy of Afghanistan, the prospects for the country's involvement in the process of regional interconnectedness.
Ambassador of Norway to Uzbekistan (with residence in Oslo) John Mikal Kvistad also participated in the meeting.
