On December 5, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Ambassadors of Bangladesh Dr. Mohammad Monirul Islam, Indonesia  Sunaryo Kartadinata, Iran  Mohammad Ali Eskandari, Malaysia  Ilham Tuah Illias, and Pakistan Ahmad Farooq. As noted, there is huge untapped potential in the partnership of Uzbekistan with every country from education to trade. The sides also underscored the need to enrich  ties with more promising joint projects in the near future.
