On August 29, 2023, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Yusuf al-Utaibi.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the state and prospects for expanding Uzbekistan-Saudi relations in the political, trade, economic, investment and humanitarian spheres.

Special attention is paid to the dialogue between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia within the framework of the UN, the OIC, the Gulf Cooperation Council and other international structures.

The sides considered the schedule and organizational aspects of upcoming joint events at various levels.
